Removing makeup is a huge deal for everyone. I'm very sure we've all seen products all over beauty stores for removing makeup, let's face it we're all fed up with makeup removing wipes it irritates sensitive skin especially around the eyes.


Now What Are Cleansing Balms?

Balm cleansers are cleansers that lift up dirt, makeup, excess oils, sunscreen and other pollutants while also cleansing deep under the surface. Cleansing balms can be used across all skin types, they are really beneficial for dry skin types, dehydrated skin types and sensitive skin types since they gently cleanse the skin without stripping and provide moisture and nourishment. 

Balms are solids and are generally lightweight, they are equally great for oily skin types as oil attracts oil it aids to remove any excess oil, they are effective at breaking down impurities because of the natural oils, these oils provide a deep clean to dissolve excess oil on the skin that can cause clogged pores and breakouts without stimulating oil glands. Cleansing balms are deep cleansers that create a natural clearer and younger looking skin overtime.

What I Think It: 

Personally, I love it! Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm is one of the best cleansing balm brand out there. It's very affordable and high-quality. And you truly get what is promised in this 3.8 oz tube of wonder.

I've used this product many times and I really loved this product enough to review it. I was very skeptical at first to use the balm to remove my eye makeup. Apart from Then I Met You Cleansing Balm, this is my second favourite cleansing balm. I'm super sensitive about my eyes, so I am always careful in choosing what I use on them.

How I Use The Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm:

I gently use my fingertips to apply the balm on my face, my eye area (lids and lashes). The product turned from a solid balm-like consistency to a silky oil consistency. You can feel the makeup melting away, I apply over my eyelids and eye lashes to remove mascara and eyeshadows. Don't worry about stings or burns because it is very gentle.

What I Noticed After 14 Days:

I talked about how sensitive I was about my eyes and I most say I was in shock. My eyes were clean no residue of mascara on them, I felt no tightness or itching around my eyes it was so satisfying, I was impressed.

Rating: 

I rate Clinique cleansing balm a 9 out of 10. It is a light weight oil makeup remover, it dissolves stubborn and water proof makeup. It is one of the best cleansing balm brands in stores,  it's very affordable and lasts for about 2-4 months.

The Take Away : 

This is one many cleansing balm brands that is great for all skin types, it doesn't cause breakouts or clog pores. It is non-comedogenic making it safe for acne prone skin. This product is skin friendly and free of SLS, parabens and fragrance. It is non-greasy and non-drying. This product contains Tinctorius (Safflower seed) oil and tocopherol (vitamin E) for moisture and nourishment.

In conclusion: 

I highly recommend Clinique Cleansing Balm, I love it! If you end up getting one you won't regret it, it was such a great experience it has been a helper to completely remove my eye makeup no disappointments. One of the best makeup cleansing balm brands out there you'll be thanking me later.
